During the recent lock down, Ali Higgins, in 2nd Class, wrote a lovely "Thank You" note to the Healthcare Workers. She added a beautifully-thought out picture and sent it to The Sunday Times, who duly published Ali's piece (see above).
There's a project happening at the moment, where painted rocks are being placed in different areas of the Curragh, creating a feeling of happy surprise and, hopefully, positivity, for those who come across them during their walks.
Before school ended, Ms Burke's Senior Infants sowed three broad bean seeds in different conditions as part of a science experiment. Last week we found out that the seed that had water AND sun sprouted - Horray!
