Dunnes Stores Bag Packing - Monies Raised

Thanks so much to each and every person who worked at our Bag Packing Day in Dunnes Stores on 22nd October The great sum of just over €900 was raised. This money will be put towards replacing books for our school reading system. Thank you to the Parent Association who organised this event. We also very much appreciate the support Dunnes Stores Newbridge give us - thank you so much.

Christmas Cards - Funds Raised

We hope you are all delighted with the lovely Christmas cards your children created for you. Apart from the delight the children have at creating their very own cards, this initiative also raises vital funds for our school. Parents Jackie Gibbs, Ann Brennan, Moira McCormack O'Donnell and Karen Mulvey worked hard to organise the Christmas card event. Sincere thanks to you. More than €900 was raised for our school - confirmation of final figure will be in next issue. Thanks to all the children and to you, Parents, for taking this scheme to your hearts.

Banned: Bottle Flipping

Please be aware that the latest craze for flipping water bottles is banned in Scoil Bhríde during school hours & on school premises, for health & safety reasons (and to avoid accidents/spillages & distraction during class time). Your support in this matter is greatly appreciated.
