Hand Hygiene

You may have seen the information sheet recently sent home by the Parent Assocation, relating to hand hygiene within Scoil Bhríde. Did you know nearly 2 million school days are lost annually in Ireland due to the common cold? The Centre for Disease Control (CDC) reports that addressing the spread of germs in schools is essential to the health of our youth and our schools. Hand hygiene is the single most important way of reducing infection and preventing its spread. With this in mind, Scoil Bhríde are currently working through a hand hygiene programme. Set-down Area: Please be Respectful of it's intended use.

Please be reminded again, that the area at the front of the school is for set-down and collection of pupils only. Cars cannot be parked here and/or left here at drop off and pick up times. If you need to come in to the office, please park in the GAA car-park and proceed to school office. If you have to pick up your children during the school day you may pull into this area to collect them. It is wonderful to see so many of your children walking, scooting and cycling to school and we always encourage this. Please remind your children who do come to school this way to be careful as the paths (particularly where it narrows on the hill opposite playschool) and to watch out for themselves and t
