

"Pop In" Invitation - "Last Monday"
Every 'Last Monday' of the month, Parents and Guardians are invited into the school to see the artwork and projects that have been worked on during the month. This month, as we haven't been back at school very long, you will find most artwork inside each classroom. However, from next month on, the corridors, GP Room and classrooms are packed with great work - all created by your children. Poker Fundraising Night
Athgarvan Pitch & Putt Club are hosting a fundraising Poker Night at the end of this week. Cumann na mBunscol Boys U11 Football .....the Story so far... A committed group of thirty U11 boys have been training on Monday after school, from 3-4 pm. They are being helped by parents Gill Gorman, Síne Smith, Eamonn Dunne, Tommie Gorman, Tom Fox and Derek Gallagher for games in the Cumann na mBunscoil League.

Tracksuit Days 2017/2018
Tracksuit Days for the coming year have now been agreed. Please ensure your child only wears their tracksuit on their nominated day(s). There may be some changes of days over the course of the year due to activities such as football, swimming, and Active Schools Week. Each class will be notified of any changes. Cake Sale - Funds Raised
Congratulations to all our 6th Class pupils and their Teachers who ran a very successful Cake Sale on Friday 15th September. All funds raised go to St Brigid's Hospice. They raised the wonderful sum of €1,440, with more money still coming in. We are very grateful too, to all the Parents and family members who helped with the baking, and donations of treats which were sold on the day. Tennis Lessons Afterschool
Coach, Darek Kostecki, is offering Tennis lessons in the school yard next to Staff Car Park. Softer tennis balls and perfect sized rackets for smaller hands mean students will be able to develop at their own pace while having fun in an enjoyable environment.
