For those of you new to Playball, you are still welcome to join at any stage. This fun, multi-sport, non-competitive class is run by Coaches Henry Bryce and Sarah Duignan. 10 week term, Thursdays 3-4pm GP room. Catholic Schools Week runs from this Sunday, 28th January through to Saturday 3rd February. Three pupils and two Teachers travelled to Carlow Cathedral on Wednesday 17th January to launch this week with Bishop Denis Nulty.

Kildare Library Service provide a series of FREE talks throughout the year that you may find very useful. Another magical day was held in Scoil Bhríde on Sunday 3rd December 2017 for our annual Christmas Fair. Huge congratulations and thanks to all the parents who ensured an exciting and successful day for their and your children. Over €5,200 was raised on the day and is really very much appreciated. These monies will be used to continue to resource your children’s classrooms providing extra books for ‘Literacy Lift Off’ and ‘Building Bridges of Understanding’ , Maths resources

Welcome to the second Athgarvan GAA Fun Run. Taking place around the Curragh plains, this event kicks off from Athgarvan GAA on Sunday, 11th February Start Time: 11:00a.m. Register from 9:30a.m. on the morning of the race, or online at www.popupraces.ie There will be a medal for all finishers along with post race refreshments, and the event is open to runners & walkers of all abilities. Ms Ryan and her wonderful choir sang carols in Dunnes Stores centre on Thurs 21st December, and raised €275 ! Congratulations to all concerned and thanks to the parents who turned up to support us on the day. Another wonderful Scoil Bhríde Christmas event!

In-service in New Language Curriculum: All teachers must attend a full days in-service on the new Primary Language Curriculum on Tuesday 16th January 2018. Scoil Bhríde will therefore be closed for all students on this day.
