AsIAm - Seminar 4th April

Curragh Walk - Friday 12th April
Parents, siblings, friends & family dogs (on a leash) are welcome to accompany us tomorrow. From 9.30 a.m. to approx. 11 a.m. Children are asked to bring €1 on the day of the walk. Walk On Wednesday
We enjoyed a lovely morning walk from Old Mill Race to school on Wednesday 13th March. Thank you to all the children and adults who joined in. Thank you to our Healthy Lifestyle Committee, Ms Kelly and Ms Cosgrove for organising this initiative. We encourage you to walk, scoot, cycle, park n stride or carpool to school each week.


"Last Monday" - Monday 25th March
Every 'Last Monday' of the month, Parents and Guardians are invited into the school to see the artwork and projects that have been worked on during the month. Date: Monday 25th March Time: 9:00am to 9:15 a.m We'd love to see you!


Chess Lessons
Chess lessons will start in Scoil Bhríde on Thursday 28th March. Regular times as follows: Date: Thursdays Times: 3 – 4 p.m. Cost: €7:00 per lesson Instructor: Peter Cafolla Tel: 085 138 2195 Suitable for raw beginners and children who have some knowledge of the game.


Lego Club - Saturdays
Lego (Brick Building) Club. Lego is provided and the course is run over school terms by experienced Primary School Teachers. FAI Soccer Blitz
6th class travelled to Kilcullen on Wednesday 5th of March where they took part in the Spar FAI primary school 5’s blitz. 3 girls teams and 2 boys teams kitted out in blue jerseys to represent Scoil Bhríde Athgarvan. Well done to all the teams, who displayed excellent team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the day. Congratulations to the boys team captained by Conor O Donovan who won their round and have qualified for the finals; which will be played in Kilcullen on 27th Ma


Scooting Skills
Thank you to our Green School Committee who organised a "Scooting Skills" morning for our for Junior Classes on Tuesday. This was arranged as part of National Scoot to School Week. It was great to see so many of these students scooting to school on Wednesday of this week.
