Lucky Jars are an essential part of our Winter Fair.  They are simply jars from home, which you fill with bits and bobs you might already have : see list of suggestions at end of this page.

We love to see Santa Claus, arriving at Scoil Bhríde, escorted by members of An Garda Síochána. 

He will arrive to the GAA Car Park in his wonderful sleigh on Tuesday, 4th December.   

The children will all be out to meet him, and excitement is huge!

Once again we welcome the Book Fair to Scoil Bhríde.  As usual, by buying books for your child, you are helping our school library, as 60% of takings can be redeemed as free books for the library and / or the classroom libraries.

5th class have the onerous task of maintaining all the pots at the front of the school. They have chosen seasonal, hardy plants which will hopefully make it through the winter in one piece! They planted heathers, purple kale, mumms, cyclamen and ivy outside.

Each year, 6th class redevelops one area of the School garden. This year, they have been working on the flower bed near St. Brigid.  They gave a few hours digging, dead-heading and pruning, and selected new plants for the area too!

In November, 5th class will also be planting air purifying plants along our corridors and maintaining them by watering and pruning.
