Every 'Last Monday' of the month, Parents and Guardians are invited to visit their child / children's classrooms to view art, crafts, and various projects that have been worked on during the month.

It is difficult to juggle with work / time commitments, but if you can at all, you'd be very welcome. Thank you.

The Winter Fair

The Winter Fair was a wonderful day. Thank you to all of you who helped make it so special by organising, setting up, moving tables and chairs, making posters, baking, crafting, donating toys, DVDs, books, toys and bric-a-brac.

Thank you to those who donated prizes for our raffle and congratulations to our raffle winners.

Thank you to everyone involved in supplying milk cartons to build our wonderful Igloo.  Thank you so much to our igloo builders and our cheeky Snowman.

A big thank you to Santa who came to spend some time with our wonderful children.  We hope all those who met him are inspired to stay on the "Good" list!

Thank you to all children and adults who helped with the clean up and setting everything up, ready for school on Monday.

Thank you to all parents, family, neighbours and friends who attended.

The Winter Fair made an incredible €4,466 profit this year...W.O.W.!!

A very special final thank you to teacher Deirdre Chute and parent Annie Morris who put so much hard work, thought and talent into each year's Winter Fair.

We at Scoil Bhride partnered with our neighbours Athgarvan GAA to organise this Event.  This was the first fundraising effort of its kind in the Athgarvan Community, and what a success it turned out to be!

We are so very grateful to all the local businesses and individuals who supported us by Sponsoring, Advertising or donating Raffle Prizes.  We are especially thankful to you - our Community of parents and your famililes, neighbours and friends for buying tickets and coming along on the night.  We trust you enjoyed.

Did you know......

Our school is also home to a thriving woman's group. Yes indeed!

We meet at the school every Monday night during term time at 8pm. The group has been active for a year & in that time, we've been on theatre trips, invited in guest speakers, learnt new skills & even appeared on stage.

If you would like to get involved, meet local mums & make new friends, contact Annie on 086 224 4213 or follow Athgarvan ICA on Facebook.
