St Brigid's Well, Kildare - Friday 1st February

Friday 1st February is St. Brigid’s Day. Each year we celebrate our patron saint's day in a number of ways.

Weather permitting, on Friday 1st February, we will take the children to visit St. Brigid’s Well in Tully, Kildare (beside the National Stud).

All children will travel by bus to the Well,

where we sing songs, tell stories and say prayers.

Important :

• We ask you to please send €2 with your child to help towards cost of bus. Thank you.

• Children to wear appropriate clothing & wellies

We also make the traditional St. Brigid’s crosses with the senior children. The St. Brigid’s cross is part of our Scoil Bhríde crest on all uniforms and tracksuits.
