Update: U11's Boys Football

Cumann na mBunscol Boys U11 Football
.....the Story so far...
A committed group of thirty U11 boys have been training on Monday after school, from 3-4 pm. They are being helped by parents Gill Gorman, Síne Smith, Eamonn Dunne, Tommie Gorman, Tom Fox and Derek Gallagher for games in the Cumann na mBunscoil League. The first game was a home game on 12th September, against Ballysax and the boys put in a great performance to earn a well-deserved victory. With a squad of 30 players, substitutions were a critical part of the game plan and every player got game time and contributed to the win.
The second game was again at home and against a strong Kilmead team. After a shaky start and conceding a couple of soft goals early in the game, the Scoil Bhríde boys rallied. The game was close with only a few scores between the teams at half-time. Thankfully with a huge second half performance Scoil Bhríde came out on top. As in the first game everyone played, making it two wins from two games. The next game is away to Nurney on Tuesday 26th September at 1:30 pm and all spectators are welcome. Thanks to the parents who are helping with the coaching and well done to the players; they have been courteous and sporting at the games. The U10 and Senior Boys Cumann na mBunscol leagues will take place later in the school year and hopefully we can enter teams for these competitions when they begin.
