Winter Plant Sale

Many thanks for your very generous support of the Gardening Club’s Winter Plant Sale before Christmas. It generated enough profit to proceed with the planned ventures for the remainder of the year which is very exciting! Your support was much appreciated by all - thank you!

Through the venture, the 6th class gardeners learned about

• persuasive advertising

• cost price v. sale price

• percentage profit

• percentage loss and

• honed their science and art skills to create the beautiful arrangements

Our Gardening Club is run by students from 4th, 5th and 6th classes, with the guidance and hard work of Ms Kavanagh - thank you to all involved.
