Inter-Schools Cross Country

The Annual Inter-School Cross Country event took place on Thursday 11th April in Hawkfield. Boys and Girls from 4th, 5th & 6th classes took part, wearing the lovely strip kindly donated by Emma and Eric Boland (parents).

Two boys teams and one girls team ran on the day. One of the boys teams came first overall and brought the cup back to Athgarvan for a second year in a row, Ben O’Connor (6th class) came 3rd overall out of 130 runners winning an individual medal. The girls team came second overall. Fantastic results all round.
