Well done to Evelyn Lavin, 1st Class who recently decided that a letter to Áras an Uachtaráin was in order!
Tired of the lack of fun and socialisation, Evelyn went off one Sunday afternoon furiously writing and came back with a letter to President Higgins about plans for a post-COVID party. She attached a a photo of herself, for context, and proceeded to learn how to address an envelope and post it.
Much to Evelyn's delight, she received a reply from President Higgins' office last week. As the letter wished her First Class well, Evelyn wanted to pass on a copy of the letter (see below) so that the rest of her class could see.
Evelyn has taken the letter's suggestion that she follow up with Kildare County Council to heart and she is already working on this next project. Excellent initiate and work, Evelyn!
