Scoil Bhríde Athgarvan

Here at Scoil Bhride Athgarvan, we are incredibly lucky to be situated on the edge of the Curragh, with every opportunity for exploring our environment.

Over the past 15 years, we have had the tradition of taking the whole school, along with Parents, Guardians and pets, on our monthly Curragh Walk.  This happens on the last Friday of each month during school term.

This is an important part of our 'Healthy Schools' efforts.

Setting off around 9:20a.m., we are normally mobile for an hour and a half.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

• Last Friday of each month

• Weather permitting

• Wear tracksuits, regardless of their 'regular' tracksuit day

• Bring wellies to change into pre-walk.
