Green Schools Programme Overview

 

There are 6 Green Flags to be achieved.

 

There are 7 specific steps to be followed for each Flag.

 

Each Flag takes approximately 2 years to achieve

 

 

Each Flag has a specific 'Theme':  

The Theme for Flag 1 is 'Litter',  Flag 2 is 'Energy' Flag 3 is 'Water', and so on.

 

Flags follow a specific order, i.e. Flag 3 (Water), cannot be awarded until Flag 1 (Litter) and Flag 2 (Energy) have been successfully achieved.  We are currently working on Flag 4 'Travel'.  Click the Flag icons for more information on each.

 

Scoil Bhride's Green School Pupils Committee do a huge amount of work to achieve Green Flags.  As fellow pupils, Staff and Parents, we should all try to familiarise ourselves with their campaign and become actively involved, where possible.
