Gardening Club

Our industrious Gardening Club students have been having a busy term.
We thank Ciarán Malone (parent) who replanted our flower boxes for Easter and for tidying up the Willow tree at the edge of Teachers car park. The Gardening Club use the rainwater from the water barrels (Green Schools Water Collection) to ensure all flowers and plants are properly watered and cared for.
New hedging has been planted again by our St. Brigid. Please do not walk through (or allow children & toddlers to do so) this hedging. We must give it a chance to grow.

Our hard-working and enthusastic Gardening Club, under the excellent leadership of Ciara Kavanagh & Katie Fogarty, have planted bedding plants with the Junior Infants to 2nd Class in the raised beds at the rear of the school.
We look forward to them adding an extra dash of colour to the yard area.
